Nomadic at heart and built on association, liminal is an outstretched hand into a delicate realm of chaos and beauty. Photographed over two years in three countries, liminal blurs all boundaries – including those of genre. Architecture meets classic nude, conceptual photography meets experimental techniques, analogue meets digital, image meets text in a unique work that owes much of its magic to Chiara Padovan’s editorial composition and Christine Maier’s eye for design.
Muse Teresa Del Sole takes the viewer on a journey of self-exploration, Charon and siren at the same time. She is the face of the book, and the author of four of its texts.
Liminal is the dream continuation of Thomas Sing’s first monograph Until I Break
The project was supported by the Arno Buchegger Foundation, the artists‘ association ‚Die Ecke“ and many pre-orders. Published in October 2023, one third of the edition is already gone. Thank you!
